Timeless Classics: A New Concert Option for Churches

As Soul Venture travels the region and sings at churches of all sizes, shapes, and denominations, they regularly hear comments from senior adults such as: "I'd sure like to hear more of the old-time classics." "I sure miss singing the hymns." "I rarely get to hear the songs that were precious to me when I was a young Christian." "We never hear gospel music any longer at our church." After hearing these types of comments for more than two years, Soul Venture decided to do something about it. As of April 15, 2010, Soul Venture will offer a new concert option for churches called, "Timeless Classics." This concert option will feature hymns, inspirational classics, and famous songs from past decades of Christian music. The "Timeless Classic" concert option is a perfect way for pastors and church leaders to show your "seniors" that you are sensitive to and care about their musical preferences. The calendar year of 2010 is shaping up to be Soul Venture's busiest year ever! Open dates in 2010 are going fast. As of December 15, 2009, the group only has 12 open dates remaining in 2010.
